Those of you that have been following us on Instagram know that Mackenzie is at the stage where everything goes in her mouth ie. dog bones, library dinos, etc. If you have a little one yourself then I am sure you are familiar with the daily struggle of constantly trying to keep the really icky items out and the teethers from falling to the ground.

Enter the Gummee Glove! For the above reasons, I was so excited to get my hands on one of these! The name is pretty self explanatory, but it's a teether designed for babies to wear on their hand! It goes on just like a mitten and is safely secured with an adjustable velcro strap. The fact that it stays on their hand is pretty awesome for two reasons. One, it doesn't fall to the ground and two, it's super handy for babies under 5 months who are not able to grasp a teether yet. With that being said, my only regret is not getting the Gummee Glove sooner because Mackenzie is now 9 months old and sometimes she tries to tear the glove off!

I have to admit that I'm kind of a clean freak so it bothers me that some of our other teethers are part silicone and part fabric because this makes them difficult to clean. That is why I was thrilled to find out that the Gumme Glove not only comes with a laundry pouch for cleaning and storage but the silicone teething ring detaches for easy cleaning! Winning!

One of Mackenzie's first toys was a little fabric book with red, white and black patterns that made this crinkling sound when she played with it. The colors and the noise are intended to be stimulating for babies, and Mackenzie loved it! The black and white rectangle on the Gummee Glove is just like that book, so of course Mackenzie took to it right away! I also learned that the crinkle noise is designed to teach babies cause and effect! How cool is that?!

I especially like to give Mackenzie her Gummee Glove when we're in the car or out for a stroller ride because it's the one toy that she can chew on and I don't have to worry about it ending up on the ground! I would definitely recommend the Gummee Glove to parents with babies and it would also be a great unique shower gift!
