DockATot Grand Review
Many of you have asked how we like the DockATot Grand, so today I am going to share our experience with you guys!
If you're not familiar with DockATot, I want to tell you a little bit about them first. DockATots were designed to offer a safe, snug and soothing environment for babies. A place where they can rest, play and lounge without the restrictions of buckles or the distraction of bells and whistles. All DockATots are hypoallergenic and made with the most nurturing and hygienic fabrics that also have excellent air-permeability. DockATots are ideal for travel, whether it be from room to room, at grandma's house or on vacation. They come in two different sizes; the DockATot Deluxe and DockATot Grand. The Deluxe is for babies ages 0-8 months or 5-22 lbs and the Grand is for babies 9-36 months or 22-40 lbs. This is just a quick overview of the brand, to learn more click here.
Now that you know a little bit about DockATot, I will share our experience. I have seen many pictures on Instagram and read a lot of reviews of the DockATots, so I was very excited to get to try one out! We went with the DockATot Grand because Mac is a year old and weighs 24 lbs. The material is very soft to the touch and much softer than a regular crib mattress. I love that the cover is machine washable and is easy to take off and put on.
From Mac's first night at home, she has pretty much always slept in her crib. Except of course occasionally falling asleep on my chest, the swing or her car seat. Now that Mac is older, she will only sleep in her crib. I miss those days of being close to her while she sleeps and secretly wish she would fall asleep in our bed. I thought maybe the DockATot Grand would finally grant that wish, as I tried many times to get her to sleep in it on our bed, but it did not work.
Although Mac will not sleep in her DockATot Grand, as mentioned above, they were not designed just for sleeping. Mac loves lounging and playing in it. She was sick recently and it came in very handy to have it out in the living room for her to relax in. I really like how portable it is and think as Mac get's older it will be nice to take up to the cabin and also for when we transition her into a bigger bed.
I hope you found this post helpful and if you have any questions in regards to the DockATot Grand I'd be happy to answer them in the comments below! Also, don't forget to check out DockATot on Instagram. Thanks so much for reading!
